Architectural metal problems are rarely solved by choosing a color and spraying over the condition. The substrate, original factory finish, field welds, corrosion mechanism, adjacent glass, sealants, hardware, exposure and service environment all change what the correct solution should be.
AMF grew out of window and door manufacturing and architectural finishing. We understand how these components are fabricated, coated, glazed and installed, and how to work around a completed building when something arrives wrong, becomes damaged, or begins to fail.
The difficult work between trades
AMF operates in the narrow but critical space between manufacturing, installation, glazing, coatings and closeout. We can support a factory warranty claim, correct a field weld, rescue a nonconforming finish, refinish an oversized assembly or restore a coastal system that has begun to corrode.

AMF works directly with homeowners, owner representatives and residential builders to restore weathered, corroded or damaged exterior windows, doors, gates, railings and glazing-system framing. Our field process preserves the installed assembly, protects the surrounding glass and finishes, and avoids replacement when restoration is the better solution.

We align the scope with the responsible project team, document the condition and coordinate our work around the building, not the other way around.
Share drawings, finish requirements, photographs or the field condition. We identify what must be confirmed on site.
We evaluate the substrate, existing finish, corrosion, access, adjacent materials and exposure before selecting a path.
AMF defines preparation, masking, coating system, color development, access and project coordination.
Specialist technicians complete the work in the field or factory and document the finished condition for closeout.
